LibreOffice tool bar doesn't work Ubuntu 12.10

I am using LibreOffice Versión 3.6.2.2 with Ubuntu 12.10.

I am having trouble with the tool bar. For example, sometimes in texts when I select Edit--Changes--accept & reject, nothing happens, the window doesn't appear. Or when I want to use the outline option in Format, sometimes it works and sometimes I clck and nothing happens, the window doesn't appear. Or with the spreadsheet, I clicked to divide the sheet horizontally and it worked. Then I clicked to divide it horizontally and vertically and nothing happened. Or with either text or spreadsheet, all the open files aren't always listed.

Suggestions?

If you make a new user, is it the same as that user?

I take it you mean a new user in Ubuntu, right? I will create one and see if I have the same trouble with a document in that new user. I can say that sometimes when I close a document and reopen it, the problem does not reappear. But that doesn't always cure it.

Yes a new ubuntu user, if its ok then we know it is a settings issue

I don't know if it is coincidence, but since the update to the latest Kernel, the problem is largely diminished. I will watch it along a liitle more, and see....
