Ping from windows 7 to ubuntu installed on VMware

Hello,
I have windows 7 OS. I have installed ubuntu 12.04 on VMware.I am trying to ping from windows 7 to ubuntu.On ubuntu,I found IP address as 192.168.195.132.
Then ping that IP.But it is not giving response.What is the problem?

Windows 7 have 192.168.43.2 IP address...

I suggest you set the virtual system to a bridged network. You will need the system powered OFF to do this. It will then get an IP from your router and fall into the same subnet. It will then appear as another PC on the network
