AMSN fails to open browser after mail alert

Hi. I am using AMSN with Kubuntu Gutsy. When I click the mail notification icon telling me I have mail I get the error "Can't execute application: mozilla $url. Check Preferences" I also get a similar error with Kopete (another chat program) I have checked the preferences in Firefox (which is my default browser) and cannot see anything that would be stopping a connection to hotmail.

With the aMSN, click on Account->Preferences. Choose the "Other" tab. On browser, change "mozilla $url" for "firefox $url".
