Determining My X Server Driver

Okay...

I'm having all kinds of problems with screen resolution on my computer.

Per someone's request on here, I ran dpkg-reconfigure xserver-org and tried to guess my way through it as best as I can...

But if I have to shut-down my computer and restart, my screen resolution defaults to extremely tiny...

Can someone help?

One thing I have a question about is how can I find-out what type of X server driver my computer has?

nVidia Corporation NV18 [GeForce4 MX - nForce GPU].

If so, I still definitely need help from here because my settings obviously aren't working or aren't being saved correctly...
