I have a new hard drive. I partitioned it, formatted and downloaded Ubuntu onto it. I rebooted the computer with the hard drive with Ubuntu (an ISO file) and it will not boot. What do I need to do? Thank you.

It's no use putting the iso on the hard drive.

you need to burn the file to a disk and boot from it to install ubuntu but there are 2 options full drive and partial drive install its pretty explanitory the full option wipes the hard drive and installs ubuntu but the partial one partitions the hard drive and then installs
