I can config vpn and saved the configuration with name of "My VPN".

But the the menu item:
network-manager-gnome(left-mouse-click on tray icon): vpn connection->My VPN are disabled though it exists!

I dont know why, I have googled it for a long time, but cant find a solution.

What's the problem?

In order to establish a connection using OpenVPN, you have to own the following files:
 configuration file
CA certificate
your private key
your public key
Once you have them all and you have adjusted your configuration accordingly, you can connect with sudo openvpn your_configuration_file

thanks for your answer
but I am depressed by the complicated configuration.

I think I can't go with vpn without a GUI.

I will wait until network-manager-gnome works.

Can you help with this problem?
