How do I run Ubuntu as a secondary OS on a seperate HD than my main HD(which includes my main OS)?

Asked by Dillon Turnage

I want to be able to use two different HD's and run two different Operating Systems, one in each HD, without having to unplug the HD, that contains the OS I don't want to use at that time. I want to use XP as my main OS and Ubuntu as my secondary.

Well I suggest you install Ubuntu

>>>choosing to ONLY use the HD without XP on it <<<.

It will install and provide a menu entry so you can choose which you want to run at boot up.

To be on the safe side make sure you back up any data you do not want to loose.

Can you help with this problem?
