We can try to do something as explained here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=301961

First make a backup copy of your /etc/X11/xorg.conf xserver configuration file, to do this:

Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

To make a backup copy of your actual /etc/X11/xorg.conf type:

cd /etc/X11
sudo cp xorg.conf xorg.conf.bak

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

Then open your /etc/X11/xorg.conf

gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Select all contents copy and paste here, i will try to make change and i will send it here, with changed contents.

Hope this helps

Press CTRL+ALT+F2 make a login with your user and password

then try to reconfigure your xserver-xorg, type:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

To be sure to get (low resolution) graphics select vesa video card.

Then restart the pc, type:

sudo reboot

When you are able to get some graphics we can go on...
