This does not appear a bug, but looks like you've copy'n'pasted something invalid by accident.

Please paste line 38 of your sources.list (or the entire file), if you don't know how to fix it yourself.

how to fix add and remove and how to remove to many ubuntu 7.10 off dont have a disk i have 7.04 did try to upgrade but could ran out of space tomany other ubuntu on computer. thanks Andrea
