Then you are using a 3rd party source for the package and not the official repo one. I suggest you uninstall minitube and disable the PPA (or remove it) then install the 1.6 version of minitube. Does it then work ok?

sudo apt-get --purge remove minitube
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install minitube

Shoudl install from the official repo and we can then test

with command sudo apt-get update the result is

E: Type 'ain' is not known on line 3 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/nilarimogard-webupd8-precise.list
E: The list of sources could not be read

thanks.
