why can i not use my new bought printer canon mp 510 ?

I recently changed to open office but now i cannot use my new bought printer Canon MP 510
I'm very disappointed and thinking about to return to windows if the problem cannot be solved
even scanning and copying does not work !

As I already told you, I had to buy the turboprint driver to make it work correctly.

But if copying fails, you have a hardware problem : the computer has nothing to do with copying.

Blame Canon for not providing drivers or allowing developpers to write one
