I want to write a .wav file to a CD.

Asked by Bryan Mitchell

I have a voice recorder that produces .wav files only.
I have tried Serpentine and Rhythm Box but neither program
works. They both report "Put a blank CD in the drive" when the
Cd is already in the drive!
I want to write the .wav files to CD in order to pass the content
to friends. Do these programs only work with mp3 files?

Since writing the above I have found that the programs DO work if I put the blank CD
in my DVD Writer! But not in the CD Writer (Yes I was using blank CDs not DVDs).
So the problem is solved but another one is created - why not in the CD Writer?

In serpentine, go into the "Edit" -> "Properties" menu. You should be able to choose the drive you want from there.
