acx111 wireless no connection

Asked by scatyb

I have a TI ACX111 card that works fine on a windows machine and used to work sometimes before the most recent updates. Now I cannot connect to anything nor will it even see a WAP to connect to. The card itseld and the interface seem to recognized properly, but it doesn't matter if I put in the ESSID, the proper HEX, and set it to DHCP, nothing works. I've even opened up the network as far as I dare to allow for any kind of connection and ti still won't see anything. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I'm running the latest updated version of dapper using gnome.
