Package Support

Asked by paintball_9029

Is there a iso or package that contains all known packages for Ubuntu that i can just install all at once, Im tired of looking for specific packages. I do have access to the packages.ubuntu.com website but its very time consuming. a single install file that did all of them would be much faster.

you don't need to search packages on the website. You install programs through Synaptic. Very easy. Take a look at the faq.

Take a look at the ubuntu ultimate edition. Make a search at the google. It is a unoficial ubuntu edition that comes on a DVD with lots of software for you to install. It may solve your problems better.
