What to do when no-one can answer the questions

Asked by Ricci

Using Gutsy (and wishing I wasn't) what does one do when no-one offers an answer. I am encountering so many problems with Ubuntu, I'd change back to XP if I hadn't put so much effort into transferring all my data. I upgraded from Fiesty hoping that would help but there are as many problems, just different, I'm rapidly beginning to feel using Ubuntu is somewhat masochistic.

There are forums and there is a good deal of documentation available in the wiki:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToGetHelp

Keep also in mind that we are all volunteers doing this in our free time; while it can be good to vent your frustration this might have a contrary effect in seeking help.
