attempting to download "limewire" linux. get error and instructed to shut down update manager (apt-getor, aptitude . ????)

Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor

two or more conflicting programs running making the download of a program impossible. Attempting to download "limewire" linux version. instructed to enter "dskg--configure-a" somewhere. I am not that programer oriented and am unsure as to where to make the entry and not very familiar with UBUNTU linux.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us this does not appear to be a valid bug report and subsequently we are closing it and converting it into a support request.

Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.
