ubuntu wont download games from disk

ubuntu wont run setup for my computer game. Is ubuntu not sapose to be able to do this?

What is your computer game? Is it Windows? Ubuntu will run SOME Windows .exe games, but not out of the box. You need to install WINE and see if it runs under that.

The game is Guild Wars.

Where can i install WINE? i tried to search for it on add/remove applications.

OK i downloaded the latest version of wine. now i cant get it to work. i need help to run guildwars under it.

Well, the wine site gives excellent documentation: http://www.winehq.org
Also, you have to check whether your game works or not in the application database http://appdb.winehq.org

You could also buy the program cedega which can play quite some games but it isn't free and open source so I suggest that you stick to wine.
