I have an LG l204ws monitor and in UBUNTU I cannot have 1680X1050 resolution

Asked by Aris on 2007-12-19

I install ubuntu 7.10 and when I tried to install the LG L204ws wide monitor, I found out that it was not in the ubuntu monito's list. I wonder what can I do to have the 1680X1050 resolution. Thank You

i have a monitor problem also and there seems not to e a way to edit it , windows i can do , kubuntu/linux, not a clue.
have a iso cd , starts out fine then the monitor goes diaginal. windows won't edit a linux disk , or floppy . need a iso for a floppy withsome sort of util'''''''sss. would be neat if someone publish a floppy boot diskthat says...

linux (or what ever)

monitor edit

cpu edit

what you do now edit

most start out first you build a kernel...................... ok how , where with what?? they assumme you already have and know linux.
