perhaps he (or she ) has the same problem i have , don't know how to do what you ask.
i have a monitor problem also and there seems not to e a way to edit it , windows i can do , kubuntu/linux, not a clue.
have a iso cd , starts out fine then the monitor goes diaginal. windows won't edit a linux disk , or floppy . need a iso for a floppy withsome sort of util'''''''sss. would be neat if someone publish a floppy boot diskthat says...

linux (or what ever)

monitor edit

cpu edit

what you do now edit

most start out first you build a kernel...................... ok how , where with what?? they assumme you already have and know linux.

ok next

From what Aris said, the only problem he got is a misdetected resolution. And he will soon get it right.

If you have a problem, please open another question, I will be glad to answer it.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Aris for more information if necessary.
