There are many ways to get it off, you can easily delete the partition form windows, but you will also have to restore you MBR, this can be done with a windows installation CD (if you are using windows off course).

But personally, I would like to know what isn't working on your computer then, ubuntu always worked fine for me out of the box, so I'd like to know what goes wrong then.

er can you please be more specific than that. And if it has interfered with everything then its highly unlikely it will work properly ever again. removed or not.

How do you mean interfered, ubuntu works separate form the rest of your operating system(s). It can't destroy anything if you mean that. And deleting is very simpel, in windows, you go to the control panel, you chose system administration, then disk management and you delete your ubuntu partition there (we'll, I remember it was that way, it's months ago since I have been in that part of windows and I'm not going to boot to windows just to check that).

About the restoring of the MBR, that's something you have to do with the CD you got together with windows and it should guide you through it, I have never restored an MBR as I always have one or more linux installations on my PC so grub keeps on working fine ;)

Can you help with this problem?
