No Audio with TvTime using Gusty

Video quality is great, but I have no audio. I am using an ATI TV Wonder VE card and a Diamond video card (Radeon 9550 equivalent). The audio connector is made from the TV audio out to the on-board sound line-in connection. The on-board sound is an ADI AD1888 SoundMAX.

Audio CDs and other sound functions work. Any suggestions?

Well ... I am not sure what happened. Between posting the first message and now, I installed GNome PeerCast. Now I have sound for TvTime, but it won't shut off when the TvTime program is terminated.

My revised question is: How can I control the sound for TvTime and other programs?
