i cant find the floppy disk drive,pls help me

i want to open a file in the floppy that i have inserted in the drive, but the desktop is not showing any floppy icon to click. please guide where to fing the floppy icon

On the desktop, click on the computer icon. Then right click the Floppy Drive and select "mount volume". You'll be able to see the icon on your desktop.

Once done, don't forget to unmount it before taking the floppy out of the drive.

In Kubuntu I do not have a computer icon, the nearest to a computer icon is "System Menu" I selected that and then selected Storage media, "Media - Dolphin" opens but the only icon in this is the "hard drive" or a C/V disk drive if a disc is in. There is no difference (still no floppy icon) if there is a floppy disk inserted in the drive or not. Kfloppy is installed.
