RTL8188CE wifi card disabled in Ubuntu 12.04

My RTL8188wifi card is not working with ubuntu since i upgraded to ubuntu 11.10. Now I have freshly installed ubuntu 12.04 but the result is the same. previously it was showing "wireless disabled by hardware switch".. now its showing "wireless is disabled"

the output of 'rfkill list all ' command is :

Do you dual boot the system?

Can you give the output of:

sudo lshw -C network; lsb_release -a; uname -a; dmesg | grep -i firm

No My system only uses ubuntu

If you have a key to enable / disable wifi, press it. Does it come up?

There is a designated key... F2 is the key to enable and disable wifi. but its not working.. My netbook is a Dell mini 1018, it seems that wifi hot key of this model is not supported in ubuntu 12.04 see the link " http://www.ubuntu.com/certification/hardware/201010-6646/
