How do I get started?

I just got ubuntu installed.
But it asks for username and password, and I don´t know how to get passed this prompt.

If it did not ask you to put in a username and password during installation it is possible that you used the oem install instead of the text install. If you did use the oem install try username: oem and password:(either) oem(or)[blank]. This should get you inside. The oem install is not complete until you open a terminal and input:sudo oem-config-prepare

The person who installed it for me did apply a username and password but forgot to tell me...
But now that I know it´s no longer a problem.
