Should/Can more documentation be included on the DefaultInstall/LiveCD?
I hope this is the right place to ask this, so here goes.
I was wondering if it is possible to include more of the program-specific help documentation on the LiveCD for the default programs (such as GIMP's help documentation, which I'm fairly sure is not part of the default install). I understand that space is tight, but it seems odd/incomplete to ship a system without all of the documentation and help files that are available in the repositories.
As far a a user scenario, one of the reasons that Ubuntu CD's are available to be shipped to people is presumably because there are people out there with slow (or non-existent) internet connections. I would quickly become frustrated if I had to download the help files for GIMP, OpenOffice, etc. over a dial up connection.
Admittedly, I haven't looked in to this too much (such as figuring out exactly how much "help" is absent on a default gutsy install), but would it be possible to put more on the default install, or perhaps have an optional "documentationCD" available for shipping as well?
Thanks for your time and response,
