Trying to install a automotive usb obd scanner and can't install driver for program.

its a windows based program drivers

I have tryed wine. it installs the program fine but the usb drivers will not install. useing ubuntu 12.04 what do i do

Does it not get detected if you run xsane or simplescan?

can you give the output of:

lsusb; lsb_release -a; uname -a

I dont think this is about a scanner (in the scan/print/fax sense of the word). Unassigned from simple-scan.
