Cannot find 'flashplugin-nonfree'

Asked by ping

I am a noob so don't be to harsh. I just install Gusty Gibbon and I wanted to access certain sites that use Adobe flash. I clicked on the tab that automatically searches and finds the correct one. I did that and it said Cannot find flashplugin-nonfree. I checked and i actually did have a nonfree file. I also just downloaded it from their site and tried to install it. I While installing It asked for the path of Firefox. every path that I tried didn't work. I'm thinking that maybe that these 2 problems are linked somehow but I don't have the knowledge or nohow to do it. I still dont have a flash player installed and these are my plugins:

It seems to be that "flashplugin-nonfree" didn't show up in synaptic. I also searched for flashplugin-nonfree in my file system and it didn't show up there either.

Make sure that under software sources you have enabled "software that has copyright restrictions" which is in the multiverse category of the repository.

Hope this helps
