Broken Package; Can't install anything !

i am trying to install compiz fusion and i get this error

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  libgnome-desktop-dev: Depends: libgnomeui-dev (>= 2.14.1-1) but it is not going to be installed
  libmetacity-dev: Depends: libgtk2.0-dev (>= 2.4) but it is not going to be installed
  librsvg2-dev: Depends: libgtk2.0-dev (>= 2.8.17-1) but it is not going to be installed
  libwnck-dev: Depends: libgtk2.0-dev (>= 2.8.17-1) but it is not going to be installed
E: Broken packages

i get this error even if i try to install any other application.. how can i fix this ?.. thank you

Try this:

sudo apt-get -f install

i tried this
i tried synaptic > fix broken package
i even tried to install the package but it doesn't work.

ok i reinstalled feisty fawn.. so i guess problem solved =/
