realtek rtl8139 lan card problem

Hi,

I have the realtek rtl8139 lan card and the ubuntu 7.10 has recognice the card. But it does not work, not even the LEDs. I am new in linux, What can I do?

Hi !

try the following command in a terminal

sudo modprobe -r 8139too
sudo modprobe 8139too media=0X01

Tell me if that helps
