How to switch off mouse wakeup from the suspend mode?

Asked by man-kafa

After the upgrade of my notebook Toshiba L505-13T to 12.04 it started to wake up from the suspend mode at a slightest mouse move, even though the lid is closed. Is there a way to turn the mouse sensitivity off? Shall I report a bug?

Hi man-kafa

yes you can edit mouse speed by going into system settings options and then in hardware section choose mouse and touch pad and there you will have all option where you can edit configurations about your mouse and touch pad.

If you can't use your mouse you can navigate there with your keyboard. Press win-button on your keyboard to show search and type into system settings. Then with your arrow keys select proper one and you will have opened configuration window. When it opens press tab once and then with your arrow keys go to mouse section and press it. Then you can with same buttons on keyboard configure your mouse options.

Hope this helps you on some way. If did, please mark this question as solved.

Regards,
Miha

Hi Miha,

Thank you for your valuable answer!
I put the mouse sensitivity to the minimum level and it doesn't wake the computer up any more.
I had assumed that these settings had to do with regular mouse performance with which I was totally happy.
