cannot install DHCP package

I need to setup a network dhcp server for a windows
clients, so i guess I need the server version.

I don't think I did that. I am new to the product and
this is my first time to try this after downloading
the product. I still need to learn the basics.

In order to add Universe repository, you have to run Synaptic (located in System -> Administration -> Synatptic) as superuser. Then you have to open Settings -> Package archives and enable Universe repository in the new window. Confirm your choice and click on Reload and, once this step is completed, you should be able to find the packages you need simply by searching them. Sorry if I've confused some names, but I'm displaying Synaptic in italian.
