I have 4 gigabytes of ram Installed (4 PC2 6400 @ 800MHZ). Even though Ubuntu can only utilize 3GB. Can this cause problems or hurt my computer in any way? Can i Leave all 4Gigs in or should I take one out?

I have 4 gigabytes of ram Installed (4 PC2 6400 @ 800MHZ). Even though Ubuntu can only utilize 3GB. Can this cause problems or hurt my computer in any way? Can i Leave all 4Gigs in or should I take one out?

I'm running a Dual core Pentium if that means anything.

For 4 GB RAM you must use the 64 bit version of Ubuntu. You also have to enable the memory remapping feature in the BIOS.
