Backup Ubuntu 11.10
I am using Ubuntu 11.10. I want to restore everything I had on my computer to a previous date and back up my hard drive. I clicked on the system cog in the top, right hand corner, system Settings and Backup. I looked at all the settings and tried different things. I cannot get the Backup Now or Restore buttons to become active. I have an Ubuntu One account.

I had a back up now button active and clickable.
I hit the automatic backup switch and the backup now button greys out and does a popunder dialog asking for a password.
What is your backup location?if it is Ubuntu One do you have an Ubuntu One account?

Hi, Alan,
I am using Ubuntu 11.10. I do not know where my backup location is. I
clicked on the cog in the right hand top corner of the screen, system
settings and backup. This is where I got stuck. I have an Ubuntu One
account.

Nigel Fitt

Dear alan,
I am using Ubuntu 11.10. I have an Ubuntu One account. I want to restore my system to a previous date and do a back up. I clicked on the cog in the top, right hand window, system settings and backup. The Backup Now and restore buttons are greyed out. I cannot make these buttons active.
