CD not auto mounted on insertion

Asked by Removed by request

On Ubuntu 6.06 (this used to work on 5.04)
- Insert a CD in the CD drive
- Restart the computer
- Login
- The CD is mounted and shown on the desktop (as expected)
- Right-click on the CD icon on the desktop
- Click 'Eject'
- CD ejects and disappears from the desktop (as expected)
- Re-insert the CD
- Nothing happens and wait
-> In the previous version of ubuntu the CD used to be mounted
automatically, and appeared within a few seconds on the desktop.
Now this has to be done manually with 'mount /dev/cdrom'

Ubuntu hardware database entry: b43b6c038773d0c64acedb1fae5651a8

This works for me in Edgy... sounds like you might want to file a bug
report.
