hi,
Could anyone tell me if can install the flgrx drivers on my compaq laptop with Radeon IGP 330M/340M/350M. I have installed the ati drivers from the ati website and when currently the Xserver is running on "ati" module but i cannot seem to get it working on fglrx.Could some one tell me as to wheather i can get fglrx working coz i really want to try and install xgl on my system.

This is the output when i do :lspci | grep VGA
0000:01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon IGP 330M/340M/350M

and this is the output when i do a fglrxinfo
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: www.mesa3d.org
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpenGL version string: 1.2 (1.5 Mesa 6.4.1)

This is the output when i do :lsmod | grep radeon

If i change the Driver from "ati" to "fglrx" the xserver will not load and i get error's.Could some one pls pls tell me how i can get agl working on this computer or will agl run on my card.

Thanks.

I believe you video card is unsupported. ATI Driver (fglrx) only support video card models above the Radeon 8500.
