weather report aplet doesn't work

the weather report applet in the panel won't work for me. When I select it, it does appear in the panel, but when I try to change my location to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, it is unable to access the current conditions. It will show current conditions for Toronto. I haven't tried other locations. I have tried the Victoria location many times over a period of months, so this does appear to be a temporary thing. thanks

It looks like it works if you choose the Vancouver International Airport from the 3 choices in the vancouver settings. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to pull down a radar map for any selection.

You might consider filing a bug if this work around doesn't prove satisfactory enough and then close this support request.

OK, stupid request. I filed a bug report, but I don't know how to close
