Accessibility: Mouse on Keyboard is too slow!

Via accessibility prefs enable mouse on keyboard, now use the arrow ex. 8 (up) and the pointer mouse very slowly!
Any tips about how can the speed be increased?

On the screen where you enable keyboard mouse controls, down the bottom right there is a 'settings' button. Click on this and you can alter the sensitivity and acceleration of the mouse controls. Holding the key down should then move it quite fast accross the screen.

@Chris : Not work on my machine.
Ubuntu 13.10 64bit.
Mouse : Logitech USB Optical Mouse.
