Help in using CVS and Bazaar in UBUNTU 7.10

Hi,

Can some one give me a detailed summary of what one must do after installing the packages CVS and Bazaar, i want to create my local repository from a remote server using an SSH connection. I just need step by step procedure and basic usage commands. I don't want to do anything that might do any thing wrong to the system . If some one has already done it, i will be glad if they can share some information about this.
