Text mode

Hi all,

My Brother just got Ubuntu 7.10 CD....

He installed it but it formated his Windows.

So i tryed using the CD.

When i did, it came up with a whole new different setup.

It has: "Install in Text Mode", "OEM Install for manufacturers" and "Install in a Command-Line System"

Where my Brothers said: "Start or Install Ubuntu", "Start Ubuntu in safe Graphics Mode" .ect

Please Help since it also broke my vista!

How do i get mine to look like his?

Is your brothers any your CD the same one? Are you trying to install Ubuntu on another PC or on the same? Do you want to get your Vista back?

Oh i forgot to say...

When i click on "Install in Text Mode", i get a error about the disk is damaged or something when i am trying to install the Base OS or something

I am officially running Ubuntu 7.10!
