error messages with evolution on ubuntu7.10

I get "error while Scanning folders in IMAP server Hula".

 then when trying to get 'send' to work I get the further messages:

Host look up failed: Hula: name or service not known

followed by:

Error while performing operation
could not send message: broken pipe

I think this could be a result of having upgraded to 7.10 - as evolution was working ok before - however both the internet and hotmail work ok now.

The host the Hula is pointed is the right one?
