Pinnacle DVB-T PCI card not detected

Pinnacle DVB-T PCI TV card not detected ubuntu 7.10 gutsy.
I had problems with a usb tv card so decided to buy this PCI pinnacle model but it is not being detected at all. The previous usb card was being detected only 1 out of 10 times but this PCI model just isn't being detected at all. I tested it under my win xp partition and it works fine with a .net upgrade but cant get it at all under gutsy. Any ideas for this model? Thanks v much.

thanks for the response but that is for a dvb usb tv card mine is a pci tv card, cheers anyway :)
