How to burn 702MB Edgy Knot 3?

Asked by Caroline Ford

The edgy-alternate-i386.iso knot 3 image seems to be too big to fit on a CD at 702MB.

I'm trying to burn with the default cd burning in GNOME - all my media is max 700MB.

Is there a way of over-burning or otherwise fitting it on a normal CD? Are they designed for a special higher capacity discs?

That does NOT tell you how to burn images that are over 700MB. I know how to burn images, just not over sized ones..

In K3B :

Configuration>Configure K3b>Writing>Advanced>Allow overburning
