7.04 and 7.10 Instilation issues

When I try to install 7.04 or 7.10, I boot off the CD and it goes to the ubuntu screen with the sliding bar but then it does nothing for about 4-5 minutes then it says:

"ata1.01: Exception eMask 0x0 SAct 0x0 SErr 0x0 Action 0x0 Frozen"
and
"[175.121855] Buffer i/o error".

3gb PC3200
Abit IS-7 mobo
ATI x850xt 256mb
All IDE drives, 80gb western digital, 160gb samsung, 160gb hitatchi

Md5 of CD checks out OK, burned multiple times, same issues. Any help is appreciated.
