Where would I request for open source programs to be added to the repositories? I don't compile well.

Asked by airxart

I would like to have some pre-compiled software added to the Add/Remove Progams repositories.
I don't know where to request such a thing.
I have a real hard time compiling, most of the time it just doesn't work.

Programs I'd like to install so far are as follows,

Aqsis-1.2.0 which is needed for the K-3D program in the repositories
Boost_1_34_1
Recent Blender 2.45
irrlicht 3d game engine

For both ubuntu & kubutu.
I like both.

Aqsis 1.2.0 is already in gutsy.

Blender 2.45 is already in hardy. If you require it in gutsy you could try to ask for a backport:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports

No idea what boost or irrlicht are.
If you want to require a new package, you need to file a needs-packaging bug here:

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+filebug

Here is a nice example you can follow:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/163524
