7.10 upper memory limits ?

WinXP Pro 32 Bit upper memory limit is 3 Gb. What is Ubuntu 7.10 (32bit & 64bit) upper memory limits? I have a new AMD 6000+ machine.

Ubuntu will recognize only upto 3 GB if you are using the 32-bit version and will recognize higher completely if you are using the 64-bit version. Its an architectural limitation and not Ubuntu's one, cause even Windows seems to have that sort of a limit.
