How can I install Moneydance for Linux?

I can not install the downloaded Moneydance software which ends in .sh
What am I doing wrong? I am totally new to Linux from Windows & Apple Mac.
/home/tom/Desktop/moneydance_linux_x86.sh". This is where the download is located.
What do I use to install the software program?
