Trying to download and copy Ubuntu to disk and am having difficulties with the instructions from Ubuntu site.

Asked by csod64

Been trying to use the instructions from Ubuntu in order to make a CD that I will use in order to install it in another computer. It isn't working. Using InfraView/Infra Recorder. Once file is downloaded, can't seem to get it to copy properly using the Infra software. (File is downloaded to temp file. When trying to locate it, have to go through "drama"--then once found, still won't copy.) Is there any other way to do this? It's annoying.

this screencast may help you with your infrarecorder problems: http://screencasts.ubuntu.com/Infra_Recorder

i would also suggest that you make sure you save the iso fine on the ubuntu website directly to your desktop so that its easy to locate (usually you can do this by right clicking on the download link and selecting save as)

Can you help with this problem?
