Quick question about shipit

Asked by gtp405

Hi,

I was going to order a pack of free ubuntu CDs from Shipit because I am going to include them on the computers I sell. I can't affoard to buy Windows for all of them, as a Windows CD is more expensive than the computers themselves (they're old), and I really love the ubuntu interface. It said in the faq that these were live CDs, does that mean they come with live CDs, or they are just live CDs? I need the full install for what I'm doing, does it come with that? Anyone else ordered these before?

Thanks!

The new "Desktop CD" is a live-cd with the option to install Ubuntu (There is an Icon on the live-system offering an hard-disk-installation).
If you want to offer a preinstalled Ubuntu, you should download the alternate-cd for preinstalling (which offers an option for a oem-installation).
