Running a 'Guest' Distro via VMware

Asked by Riverrun

Well, I'm two months running Ubuntu now and everything is working well. Not one system crash in that time. Apps. have crashed, notably FF but the system is steady as a rock. I've taken to Linux like a duck takes to water and I'm never going back. Discovering new things every day. Once I got the basics down (more or less) I just went from strength to strength. Windows is gone off my main box now and I don't even miss it.

I'd like to try a few new things. Found a great Distro that I'd love to run as a guest OS in Ubuntu using VMware (am I correct in thinking this is possible?) I'd like to try Zenwalk if I could figure out how to do it. Was going to install it as a dual-boot with Gutsy but the DOS-like installation set-up was too intimidating for me; I didn't quiet know what I was doing and I was afraid of deleting Gutsy and so I cancelled.

Running it in VMware might be the best thing for now.

Can anyone point me in the direction of an easy to follow tutorial?
