You don't have permission to access

I try to upgrade the samba package and i get the following error:
You don't have permission to access /ubuntu/pool/main/s/samba/smbclient_3.0.26a-1ubuntu2.1_i386.deb on this server.

when i am at the synaptics manager and i click on the refresh button i get the following error.

There is something weird going on with the security update server. Just wait a bit, everything will be back to normal.

For your second problem, disable tuxfamily.org repositories. They are for feisty. You can disable them from Synaptics/Settings/Repositories/Third-party.

After doing sudo apt-get update and upgrade everything is fine - see http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=614978
