I have difficulty in locating the right file to configure UMODEM

UMODEM configuration in ubuntu 11.10, need to know in which file to include "device umodem" and " device ucom", the location or the name of the alternate place where I can configure "umodem_load="YES" "

This is to setup computer to computer communication, unfortunately one of the computer is old can only communicate using umodem protocol over null modem cable

Is it a USB connection to the old computer?

The old computer uses serial connection using DB25 and the new DB9

OK, now - if I have DB25 to the old computer and USB to the new - do I have to do anything in the new computer to set up serial communication using umodem
